Practical info

Jong, oud, uit de buurt of van ver: iedereen kan aankomend extra lange Hemelvaartsweekend weer onder de zon of sterren genieten van de lekkerste Rollende Keukens in het Amsterdamse Westerpark. Zo kan je verdwalen met een verleidelijk hapje van ver, ontspannen met een klassiek gerecht aan tafel, proosten met een speciaal biertje, interessant doen met een (betaalbaar!) glas topwijn, swingen met onze homemade sangria of alcoholvrij slurpen van onze spannende slush. Gedurende het hele Weekend (woe 13 mei t/m zon 17 mei) verzorgen wij op de podia live optredens, zodat ook iedere muzieksmaak volop aan bod komt.

ACCESSIBILITY

How to get there:

On foot or by bike (there are additional bicycle racks on site)
ATTENTION: the cycle bridge between the Van Hallstraat and the Westerpark is closed this year

By public transport. Bus 22 from Sloterdijk (stop Nassauplein), bus 21 from Amsterdam Central (stop Van Hallstraat) or Tram 13 (stop Van Limburg Stirum)

Leave your car at home! Due to lack of parking spaces, air quality and nuisance to local residents

 

GLASS POLICY

  • Je koopt je Rollende Keukens glas of pitcher bij je eerste bestelling. Zorg er goed voor! Waarom kopen? Een statiegeldsysteem trekt op een gratis toegankelijk evenement schorriemorrie aan.
  • Do you have any glasses from previous years? Bring them with you! You can exchange them for a new glass.
  • With your next order? Return your glass or pitcher (and those of your friends) at the bar so that you don’t have pay for your glass or pitcher again.
  • At the end of the Rolling Kitchens, take your glass home with you, as a souvenir or toothbrush holder.

ACCESSIBILITY

  • A limited number of disabled parking spaces are available at the Westergasfabriek. If you’d like more information about nearby parking options, please send us an email.
  • Two wheelchair-accessible toilets are open from 12:00 to 23:00. For directions to these facilities, you can ask at the bar or the information point.
  • Wheelchair-accessible mats are placed on the Manifestation site (the large lawn). This allows you to easily access all kitchens, stages and bars.
  • We try to make the tents, bars and stages as accessible as possible and most of them have ramps to facilitate wheelchair access. The bar staff can assist you with this if necessary.
  • Each bar has a lowered counter section with a separate card machine for easier ordering.
  • “Event hosts” will be stationed at the entrance paths to provide information about all the on-site facilities.

STADSPAS

Enjoy the Rollende Keukens with your Stadspas

This year, you can once again enjoy tasty food at the Rollende Keukens using your City Pass. Even more food trucks are participating this year than last!

Met je Stadspas kun je terecht bij: Zoet Zoet Habibi, Bahaya, Smash, Burmese Beast, Molina, Sufret Salma, Bangkok Street Food, Mr. Gyoza, Lui varken, Quirimi’s Kitchen, Worst Truck, The Original Ducktruck, Smash it burger, Mi Mamita

For €2.50, you can buy a voucher at the information desk. The information desk is located just past the main entrance, on the left side.

With the voucher, you get:

  • one dish from one of the participating food trucks
  • een drankje bij de bar

 

House rules

  • Entrance to the ‘Rollende Keukens’ is free.
  • No alcohol will be served to visitors under the age of 18 (identification required up to 25 years).
  • Visitors under the age of 18 are not permitted to drink alcohol on the event grounds 
  • Het is niet toegestaan om (sterke) alcoholische drank mee het evenemententerrein op te nemen
  • It is not permitted to sell food and drinks within the festival area without permission from the organizers.
  • It is not permitted to possess, use and/or trade narcotics (including laughing gas) within and around the event grounds.
  • Visitors attending ‘Het Weekend van de Rollende Keukens’ automatically agree to the possibility of inspection/search. Visitors are obliged to fully cooperate with this.
  • “Stichting Rollende Keukens” reserves the right to deny (further) access to the event grounds to visitors who are drunk and/or under the influence of narcotics.
  • “Stichting Rollende Keukens” may refuse entry or remove individuals from the event grounds in the event of misconduct or breach of these terms.
  • Entering the event grounds and visiting the ‘Rollende Keukens’ is entirely at your own risk.
  • Dogs are allowed provided they are kept on a leash
